Homeschool Opportunities

Homeschool students are welcome to take any of our regularly offered courses. In addition, we offer homeschool-only classes which meet once a week. All courses are not offered every year. Below is our complete list of courses. For this year's list, go to the Admissions page.

Academic Courses

All academic courses are open to home educated students.

Languages

Meet 3 afternoons/week, 55 minutes each class, and include a 2-week immersion experience in May.

Labs for Home Schoolers (5 weeks; one meeting/week for 2 hours)

  • Biology Lab
  • Chemistry & Physics Lab

Seminar for Home Schoolers (10 weeks; one meeting/week for 1 hour)

  • Great Books discussion groups

Arts

Meet on Tuesday or Thursday for 2 hours per week. Each subject meets for two of the three 10-week terms.

  • Drawing and Painting (autumn & spring terms)
  • Art Too! (autumn & spring terms)
  • Drama (winter & spring terms)
  • Public Speaking (winter & spring terms)
  • Chorus (autumn & winter terms)
  • Music Appreciation (autumn & winter terms)

Thursday Out-of-the-Box Series

Open to all students, the Thursday Series includes field trips, special speakers, and special projects, as well as special rehearsals for Drama or Music performances.
